.Why Orochimaru?.

So why in the name of Shodaime would I create a shrine for a sadistic snake who can freely be called the physical form of true evil? Oops, I think I just gave it away.

The second I saw a picture of Orochimaru-sama, I was obsessed. He looked too cool with his grin, his hair, the eyes and the earrings... and he looked like what I imagine Voldemort to look like and I've always loved that guy too (my first reaction to Orochimaru's picture was "It's Voldemort!").

His golden and snake-like eyes stop anyone in their tracks and pierce through his enemies, giving them a glimpse of the brutal death that awaits them. His all-knowing and sneaky grin that shows his confidence and hints to the fact that he knows more than you do. It takes a lot to wipe that sneer off his face, since he's most likely way out of your league. The long, dark hair is to be worshipped [hair god!]. The violet streaks over his eyes and the heavy looking earrings in a way accentuate his mysterious personality and his overbearing strength. All over the top ninjas have cool little details in their appearance, just look at the other Sannin, Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Orochimaru answers to no one, but does as he pleases. He's a genius with a horribly twisted way of thinking. He has a complete lack of remorse, he doesn't care about anyone, not even his own underlings. The only value people are to him is how useful they could be for him and his purposes.

He's stronger than you, and knows it. He eventually defeated Sandaime and was able to compete against both other Sannin while he couldn't use neither of his arms. His presence is a great threat to anyone's health and lifespan and he has enough authority to not go unnoticed. If he's around, things will revolve around him, whether others like it or not. You have to be extremely careful about what you say to him; your life depends on it. He, on the other hand, sneers and delivers snide and sarcastic comments, taunting his prey. He's very calculating and seems to enjoy watching others' reactions as he slowly drives them into a corner. He'll play around with his opponents if he feels like it.

He can be rather spontaneous. If someone gets on his nerves, he'll kill them without a hint of regret or hesitation. He will follow his ambitions to all ends and won't care what others think of his ideals. He doesn't need their opinions, they can all just die and probably will die, too.

The seiyuu, Kujira, is the best for the job. Orochimaru couldn't have a better voice. It's deep, hoarse and unctuous and fits his snaky and sly personality. He speaks slowly and clearly with no hurry at all and uses an elegant and polite way of speaking with some of his EVIL sarcasm added in to his speech.

EVIL = pure evil + hotness, thus Orochimaru = EVIL. To be frank, Orochimaru-sama is a downright smexy and intimidating character, the best villain out there. So 'why Orochimaru?' Well... why not?
